Position Overview:
The Radiation Therapy Technologist plays a crucial role in administering radiation treatments to patients diagnosed with cancer. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate treatment records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation doses to designated areas of the body, utilizing radiation therapy equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments for treatments and simulations.
- Educate patients about the procedures and equipment to ensure their comfort and understanding.
- Document any equipment malfunctions and notify management promptly.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- ARRT certification, ODH certification, and BLS certification, along with a valid license in radiation therapy.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information and patient care effectively.
- The ability to work independently and thrive in high-pressure situations.

- Stay updated on advancements in technology through literature and seminars.

Education Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology, eligible for registry.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform duties involving walking, standing, and lifting up to 35 lbs, with the capability to assist patients as needed.

Personal Protective Equipment:
Adhere to Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as required.
