Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Positioning patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast.
  • Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians, and updating patient records.
  • Organizing daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of MRI technology and diagnostic imaging principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
