As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and positioning patients and equipment for optimal imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Positioning patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast.
- Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians, and updating patient records.
- Organizing daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
- Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of MRI technology and diagnostic imaging principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
