Shock Technician

Icon Vehicle Dynamics LLC is seeking a skilled Shock Technician to join their team. As a key member of the production department, this individual will be responsible for assembling high-quality shocks using various machines and hand tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble shock absorbers on a bench or assembly line
- Operate machinery such as arbor presses, spring compressors, and hose saws
- Perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly lines
- Tend to different workstations as production needs require
- Work with various models of shocks, including IFP, Remote Reservoir, Piggyback Shock, 2.0 and 2.0 RR, CDC, 2.5 and 3.0 Bypass
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups
- Basic computer skills, including email usage
Physical Demands:
- Regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Occasionally walk, sit, lift, and/or move up to 40 pounds
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of skill required for this position.
