Icon Vehicle Dynamics LLC is seeking a skilled Shock Technician to join their team. As a key member of the production department, this individual will be responsible for assembling high-quality shocks using various machines and hand tools.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble shock absorbers on a bench or assembly line
  • Operate machinery such as arbor presses, spring compressors, and hose saws
  • Perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly lines
  • Tend to different workstations as production needs require
  • Work with various models of shocks, including IFP, Remote Reservoir, Piggyback Shock, 2.0 and 2.0 RR, CDC, 2.5 and 3.0 Bypass

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups
  • Basic computer skills, including email usage

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • Occasionally walk, sit, lift, and/or move up to 40 pounds

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of skill required for this position.
