Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

This is a key role in the engineering team supporting the manufacturing of 3D woven composite engine components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the part manufacturing process
  • Create and update procedures and work instructions
  • Monitor and update SPC database for current production parts
  • Work side by side with production to improve the process and train operators
  • Participate in MRB review of discrepant parts
  • Work with data team to develop efficient reporting tools
  • Summarize and deliver technical presentations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of composite and adhesive cure cycles
  • Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and tooling
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with automation of manufacturing processes
  • Strong communication skills
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with adequate lighting and temperature. The employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk, and will frequently reach with hands and arms. Protective footwear and eyewear are required in manufacturing areas.
