Electronics Manufacturing Engineering Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Electronics Manufacturing Engineering Director to lead and manage engineering activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will oversee design, development, and production processes, ensuring that all engineering efforts align with manufacturing goals, quality standards, and customer requirements. This position will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing operations, driving innovation, and ensuring efficient production of electronic components and systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers in the design, development, and production of electronic products.
- Oversee the engineering department's daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to ensure successful product development and manufacturing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Lead the development of engineering project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Ensure that all engineering efforts comply with regulatory and industry standards, including ISO, IPC, and other relevant guidelines.
- Implement and manage product lifecycle management (PLM) processes, ensuring documentation, testing, and manufacturing readiness.
- Provide technical leadership and problem-solving expertise to address complex engineering challenges in electronics manufacturing.
- Develop and implement strategies for new product introduction (NPI), ensuring a smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
