Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team at TemPositions. As a key member of our insurance team, you will work closely with customers, prospective customers, coworkers, and carrier partners to provide exceptional customer service and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service and Account Management: Provide expert advice and counsel to clients on their commercial lines insurance needs, ensuring their policies meet their business requirements.
  • Policy Servicing: Meet daily servicing needs of clients, including policy renewals, cancellations, and changes.
  • Business Development: Work proactively to re-market policies to ensure maximum retention and identify new business opportunities.
  • Carrier Partnerships: Maintain strong relationships with carrier partners to provide alternative quotes and ensure seamless policy issuance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry developments, coverage options, forms, and rates to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Account Growth: Round out monoline accounts by offering quotes for additional lines of business, increasing revenue and client satisfaction.
  • New Business Development: Quote and place new business from referrals, walk-ins, and call-ins, as needed.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and insurance adjusters throughout the claims process.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial lines agency experience required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Property & Casualty Producers license required.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Agency Management Systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, courteous and professional telephone manner, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and a pleasant and friendly personality.
