Our Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned leader in Real-world Evidence (RWE) and Real-world Data (RWD) generation strategy consulting for a Senior Research Strategist position within our Health Sciences Practice. In this client-facing role, you will oversee intricate, multi-stakeholder projects aimed at:

  • Developing RWE generation strategies for Life Sciences organizations, including market access and managed market approaches;
  • Implementing and operationalizing these strategies through observational studies, utilizing existing RWD or conducting de novo evidence generation;
  • Engaging in implementation projects to extract insights from RWD and guide decisions for various stakeholders, including Regulators, Payers, Providers, and Patients.

Additionally, you will contribute to the advancement of complex pharmacoepidemiology, health economics, and outcomes research initiatives at Exponent.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivering RWE/RWD and HEOR/MA consulting services to Life Science clients;
  • Leading teams in executing RWE strategies through observational studies, leveraging existing RWD or conducting new evidence generation;
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to develop, refine, and enhance processes/SOPs for planning, selling, conducting, and executing a portfolio of complex RWE projects;
  • Interfacing directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and coordinate any necessary corrective actions on projects;
  • Defining, tracking, planning, and coordinating business development activities for complex RWE initiatives;
  • Mentoring and guiding Scientist and Senior Scientist career aspirations while collaborating across various Exponent practices.

Your Qualifications:

  • A Doctorate or Master's degree in a life sciences, policy, or public health-related field;
  • A minimum of ten years of experience managing complex RWE research projects, with a preference for expertise in epidemiology, RWD, or digital health;
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills;
  • Strong leadership, change management, and implementation capabilities, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Compensation:
Our consultants are recognized for their technical and business contributions, with opportunities for future success and career advancement. Exponent's total compensation plan aligns with the quality and quantity of work performed and the professional standards upheld by the firm.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience and capabilities, which will be evaluated during the interview process.
