Travel/Schedule:

  • 12-hour Day shift: 7a - 7p on a 4-on, 3-off, 3-on, 4-off schedule.
  • Occasional travel to other support sites may be required, but this is primarily an in-house position.

Compensation:
Target base rate ~$40/hr - $47/hr

Bonuses/Additional Compensation:
Overtime is compensated at 1.5X after 40 hours; relocation assistance is available.

Role Description:

In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact between clients, management, and on-site service personnel regarding maintenance, repair, testing, and customer training matters.

This is a non-exempt role with significant responsibility for maintaining corporate image, integrity, and results, which may require extraordinary effort and adherence to tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee and organize customer activities. Supervise, coordinate, train, motivate, and guide Field Service Engineers.
  • Engage in a variety of complex planning tasks where material or sourcing needs are variable, and manage special projects where customer equipment performance is critical to contractual obligations and project timelines.
  • Support Customer Support Management and Regional Sales Managers by understanding and communicating customer initiatives, ensuring timely resolution of customer needs.
  • Instruct clients on the complete operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Assist clients in diagnosing and resolving equipment-related process issues.
  • Participate in internal meetings to facilitate the coordination of essential issues including spare parts, warranty, and daily/weekly priorities.
  • Gather, compile, and report equipment performance metrics to both clients and company management.
  • Keep management updated on all tool-down situations.
  • Provide technical support or training to less experienced staff.
  • Coordinate technical resources to track and resolve customer issues.
  • Thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment with drive and creativity.
  • Prepare and deliver relevant training, measure and record performance progress, and act as a liaison between clients and the company.
  • Direct the work of Field Service Engineers who are also present on-site.
  • Maintain all assigned equipment logs and records accurately and promptly.


To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of six years of engineering/technical and supervisory experience in a high-volume semiconductor or similar manufacturing environment.

A four-year degree in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred, although significant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Familiarity with coordinating production operations and a strong customer-service orientation are essential, as you will represent the company to the client.

Note: Candidates who have been Blue Badged Intel employees at any of their facilities within the past six months are not eligible for this position.
