A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENT
As a vital member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming calls and making outbound calls. You will actively listen and gather customer information to provide them with essential details about our services. Documenting calls accurately and taking detailed messages are crucial aspects of your role, and you will excel at multitasking while maintaining clear communication. You will assist customers in scheduling appointments and processing orders, ensuring all interactions are recorded and reported appropriately. Your natural organizational skills will shine as you help others through exceptional customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENT
- Residing in AL, FL, GA, KS, SC, TX, or VA
- Typing speed of 40+ words per minute with minimal errors
- Ability to follow instructions effectively
- Capability to type and speak simultaneously
- Strong customer service aptitude
- Proficient computer skills
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required
- A reliable landline or cellular phone with excellent reception
- A wired headset is preferred; wireless headsets are acceptable if they provide 8 hours of continuous use without connection issues.
COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS
- Processor: Pentium i5 Quad-core (or equivalent)
- Memory (RAM): Minimum 8GB
- Hard Drive: Minimum 100GB
- Must have dual video outputs for dual monitors (Y-jacks and splitters are not acceptable).
- Device must be less than 3 years old.
Operating System:
- Microsoft Windows 10 or higher
Monitors:
- Primary Monitor: Minimum size of 15” with a resolution of 1920x1080 at 100% scaling.
- Secondary Monitor: Resolution of 1920x1080 at 100% scaling.
Installed Software:
- Anti-virus: Windows Defender only.
- Malwarebytes is the only permitted anti-malware software.
Computer Peripheral Requirements:
- Webcam.
- Plug and Play Mouse that does not require additional software.
- Plug and Play Soft-Touch Keyboard (compatible with laptops) that does not require additional software.
- Approved USB Headset.
Internet Requirements:
- A stable Cable or Fiber Ethernet internet connection with minimum speeds of 50MBps download and 10MBps upload is required.
- Submission of a current internet bill with your address is necessary.
- Wireless Internet Service or connections, including Wi-Fi, are not permitted; a direct Ethernet connection is mandatory.
