Job Overview

WORKING HOURS: Tuesday to Friday from 1 PM to 9 PM and Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

SALARY: Based on experience and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and support youth within the evening reporting center. Lead group activities, plan and prepare meals within budgetary constraints, and maintain and enhance resource materials for group discussions. Accurately document group sessions, provide daily transportation to and from the center, and develop personalized growth plans for each resident, as well as strategies for the group to achieve optimal productivity. Offer counseling to residents under the guidance of the Program Director. Must be knowledgeable about community resources and attend community meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral or social science field OR 48 credit hours of post-secondary education along with a minimum of one year of experience working with children; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Successful completion of orientation training according to agency standards and passing all agency background checks is required. Willingness to undergo record checks for any criminal history that may pose a risk to children, including spousal abuse, drug distribution, or sexual offenses. A valid driver's license and the ability to achieve approved driver status are necessary.
