Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Americas development team, collaborating with sales, technical service, and research and development to validate the value proposition and performance attributes of additives in coatings systems.
  • Manage the Americas project portfolio, delivering data to support claimed benefits and developing short and long-term resource and capability plans.
  • Develop and grow the Borchers additives business in line with the commercial strategy, leading the applications and co-supplier development team.
  • Provide effective applications testing data to support the benefits of our additives and discover new benefits/value propositions to take to market.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a polymer science, material science, chemistry, or related science field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Paints and Coatings industry, with a track record of developing solutions that meet established performance criteria.
  • Proven history of delivering technical product training and developing technical presentations and product training.
  • Leadership experience and design of experiments (DOE) experience.
