Job Title: Senior Experience Designer

Truist is seeking a highly skilled Senior Experience Designer to join our team. As a Senior Experience Designer, you will be responsible for leading design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry-leading experiences for our clients, teammates, and the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry-leading experiences for our clients, teammates, and the business.
  • Participate in design-driven programs to define insights, create solutions, and advocate for client needs.
  • Design and deliver artifacts across a variety of environments.
  • Consult and collaborate with talented teams in a supportive, complex environment and develop an understanding of broader organizational context and goals.
  • Use storytelling and persuasion techniques that build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships.
  • Stay current on trends, theories, methods, and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in the field (may include equivalent education).
  • Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making.
  • Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards.
  • Excellent time and issue management skills.
  • Experience creating artifacts and executing ideas.
  • Strong ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback.
  • Proficiency in applicable software applications.
  • English language fluency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience interacting with creative teams, business owners, and technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of engineering/development processes, particularly Agile.
  • Comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
  • A strong passion for improving people's lives through design.
  • Proficiency in using Figma to create high-fidelity functional wireframes.
