Safety Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join LSG Sky Chefs in Portland, OR. This is a field position with responsibility for monitoring driver Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensuring compliance; in addition to maintaining and monitoring employee safety within our buildings.
This role requires the ideal candidate to have a background in ramp or safety experience or recent supervisory experience. Multiple positions are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of existing drivers
- Maintain and update all driver files
- Process Port Authority/Customs identification
- Ensure all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedure
- Assist the Ramp Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other duties assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days
- 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and other computer applications
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large groups – must be flexible
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
