The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time (100%), 12-month position as a Veterinary Primary Care Educator within our companion animal practice.

Our clinic is a close-knit, small animal veterinary facility that is directly affiliated with the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.

Professional Opportunities:

This role will be based at our veterinary clinic, which is well-equipped with modern surgical facilities, in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound technology.

The position will report to the Director of the Veterinary Clinic and is available for immediate start following the conclusion of the search process.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will engage in a high level of general practice and surgical procedures while collaborating with a team of primary care veterinarians.

Applicants should possess a passion for teaching and mentoring veterinary students on a daily basis.

Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications. The University of Illinois offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a DVM or equivalent degree. Eligibility for Illinois licensure is required. Strong work ethic, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills are essential.

Additional knowledge and skills in general medicine for dogs and cats, preventative healthcare, and practice-level surgery and dentistry are preferred.
