Job Summary:

The Substance Abuse Counselor will provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based treatments and coping strategies to manage crisis situations. You will work closely with our medical team to evaluate patient progress and develop personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling and case management services to patients in a substance abuse treatment program.
  • Conduct individual and group sessions to assist patients in managing crisis situations and developing coping strategies.
  • Evaluate patient progress and collaborate with the medical team to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and the treatment program.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed in the State of Nebraska for substance abuse counseling.
  • Provisionally licensed addiction counselor (PLADC) or licensed addiction counselor (LADC) certification.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
