Position Overview

Role Summary:

  • The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is tasked with overseeing subsidiary financial documentation, generating management insights, and conducting thorough financial analysis. This role involves recognizing and communicating financial patterns, as well as engaging in forecasting and budget formulation.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid; 2 days remote, 3 days onsite

Work Location:

  • Olathe, KS

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years in the preparation and evaluation of financial statements, development of management reports, financial data analysis, trend identification, and budget preparation.

Certifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid Driver's License
  • Hold valid Auto Insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is highly desirable
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required
  • Key Competencies:
    • Ability to foster and maintain productive relationships with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Generate and assess precise and timely monthly financial statements
  • Conduct financial data analysis and report discrepancies
  • Create financial management reports
  • Prepare necessary monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Address financial inquiries through data gathering, analysis, interpretation, and summarization
  • Offer financial recommendations based on analysis
  • Develop financial forecasts
  • Assist in budget preparation
  • Make independent decisions regarding financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
