This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Rogers Behavioral Health, a leading provider of mental health services. We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to work in our Brown Deer or West Allis locations.
Job Summary:The Behavioral Health Specialist will be responsible for conducting Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with patients within our treatment programs. This includes designing and implementing CBT-specific treatment plans to address presenting symptoms, providing cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services, and participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services to patients, including groups, according to clinical standards of care and under the supervision of the Clinical leader.
- Participate in weekly supervision sessions with the Clinical leader and communicate with them on an ongoing basis regarding clinical issues.
- Assure documentation of therapeutic treatment plans, outcome assessments, psychosocial information, and other patient care data is completed within the medical record.
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and assist in development of the treatment plan.
- Offer training support to other staff members less familiar with the cognitive treatment interventions.
- Document mental health services according to applicable regulations and payer expectations.
- Complete all relevant training as directed within timeline established by leadership.
- Bachelor's Degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Relevant Cognitive-Behavioral Treatment (CBT) experience (12 months preferred).
- Valid Substance Abuse credential (or state equivalent) for SUD programs.
