Assistant Professor, Transplant Hepatology Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Professor to join our team in Transplant Hepatology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and grow our liver disease clinical program to expand the liver transplant pool and support clinical investigative programs within the Ertan Digestive Disease Center at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and UTHealth Houston.
- Establish relationships and clinical activities in partner facilities within the Memorial Hermann system, focusing on providing Hepatology expertise and transplant evaluations in areas where we currently do not have a clinical presence.
- Develop between two to three new transplant hepatology clinics at target locations in the Texas Medical Center and the Houston area.
- Must have an M.D. degree, be board certified, and eligible for licensure in the State of Texas, and a graduate of an ACGME hepatology fellowship program.
- Qualified applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, discovery, and service, have potential to be outstanding in their field of expertise, and share an interest in fulfilling the common goals of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
