Position Overview:
The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring adherence to government regulations and internal policies related to pricing strategies. This role involves evaluating inputs from proposal teams to confirm compliance with applicable laws, including TINA and certified cost or pricing data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine proposal team contributions for compliance with internal guidelines and government regulations.
- Document assessments and provide guidance on the adequacy of inputs.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Contracts, Subcontracts, and Compliance to enhance proposal processes.
- Engage with clients and internal auditors to clarify financial data and methodologies.
- Advise on negotiations and discussions prior to contract awards.
- Conduct analyses on competitive pricing trends and historical bid data for specific proposals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in pricing or financial analysis, including the development of pricing strategies.
- Familiarity with pricing practices in the federal sector.
- Ability to prepare and present pricing strategy analyses to stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills to convey solicitation requirements effectively.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in delivering pricing strategy presentations to senior executives.
- Understanding of system integration processes.
- Proficiency in advanced information technology and analytical tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Capability to manage a diverse and high-volume workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking abilities.
