We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Telemetry department at Mercy Hospital Washington. As a Critical Care RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

As a Critical Care RN in our Cardiac Telemetry department, you will work closely with patients who require intensive care and monitoring due to cardiac conditions such as STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization care, CHF, arrhythmia, and blood pressure management. You will utilize your advanced nursing skills to provide high-quality care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and their families on self-care techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques, medication management, and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of hire or compact licensure.
  • ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
  • Other unit-specific certifications as required.
