Nissha Medical Technologies is seeking a dedicated Global Measurement Systems Manager to enhance our Quality Team. This pivotal role will focus on the development, maintenance, and optimization of measurement capabilities across all Nissha facilities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Oversee metrology capacity and planning to ensure quality performance in inspection areas for both ongoing production and new product initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in quality metrics related to the effectiveness of the Quality System.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers on best practices for measurement equipment and inspection methodologies.
  • Lead the development and continuous enhancement of Global Measurement Projects as part of the Quality Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold measurement capabilities and efficiencies throughout Nissha.
  • Manage projects and track capacity for new product introductions and sustaining production.
  • Ensure measurement capabilities are sufficient for the complexity of dimensions being measured and justify the acquisition of new equipment as necessary.
  • Complete Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), and Test Method Validation (TMV) for new measurement equipment.
  • Conduct standardized software validation for all system updates.
  • Utilize statistical tools such as Minitab for Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) analysis.
  • Program various inspection equipment including CMM, Optical Hybrid CMM, and others.
  • Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) for data analysis and quality decision-making.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance program efficiency.
  • Assist R&D in print development and create comprehensive Inspection Procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in negotiating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing.
  • Manage calibration system planning and oversight, including requisitioning new equipment.
  • Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and communicate inspection issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and internal operational procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing sites.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages quality, innovation, and improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least two years of programming experience with CMMs and related equipment.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as Medical Device, Aerospace, or Automotive is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Calypso and PC-DMIS.
  • Proficient in Minitab and knowledgeable in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
