Global Measurement Systems Manager

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Oversee metrology capacity and planning, driving continuous improvement in Quality performance related to inspection processes.
  • Mentor junior Engineers in best practices for measurement equipment and effective inspection methodologies.
  • Lead the formulation, communication, execution, and ongoing enhancement of Global Metrology Projects as part of the Quality Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support measurement efficiencies across Nissha facilities.
  • Manage project timelines and capacity for both new product introductions and ongoing production.
  • Ensure measurement capabilities are sufficient for the complexity of dimensions being assessed.
  • Conduct IQ, OQ, PQ, and TMV validations for new measurement equipment.
  • Perform standardized software validation for system updates.
  • Utilize Minitab for Gage R&R analysis.
  • Program inspection equipment, including CMM, Optical Hybrid CMM, and others as required.
  • Demonstrate improvements in inspection capability at the site level.
  • Employ quality tools and statistical process control for informed decision-making.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance program efficiency.
  • Assist R&D with print development and create Inspection Procedures.
  • Possess knowledge of sampling plans and their applications.
  • Manage Calibration system planning and oversight, including requisitioning new equipment.
  • Initiate NCRs and communicate inspection issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Adhere to GMP, FDA, ISO, and internal operational protocols.
  • Collaborate on CAPA projects and investigations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of quality procedures across all manufacturing sites.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Policies and SOPs.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and innovation within the organization.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least two years of programming experience with CMMs and related equipment.
  • Experience in regulated environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Minitab and general knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.

Compensation: Starting salary range of $120-160k annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
