Job Summary

First Search Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation and Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Automation and Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation and electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage and coordinate projects associated with pipeline measurement, process, and compression activities.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support for the design and implementation of automation and electrical systems.
  • System Design: Design and develop automation and control systems to ensure efficient and safe facility and pipeline operations.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot automation and electrical systems, including PLC programming and HMI-based control systems.
  • Communication: Interact with various stakeholders, vendors, and engineering firms to ensure successful project execution.
  • Technology Development: Develop and implement new technologies to support system reliability and efficiency.
  • Reporting: Develop reports for stakeholders and leadership to support compliance with regulations and industry metrics.
Requirements
  • Education: ABET accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years prior experience in Controls and Automation Engineering.
  • Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, proven technical abilities, and strong computer skills.
