Key Responsibilities:

  • Prescribe medications and treatments as needed to manage patient symptoms and promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower patients to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and APRN-NP.
  • Specialty certification in Gastrointestinal Nursing or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in GI nursing.
