Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to gerontology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patient problems, including the use of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
  • Provide health promotion and education to patients and families, promoting healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as delegated by a supervising physician, maintaining an active Prescriptive Authority agreement.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program approved by the State of Texas.
  • Licensed to practice professional nursing by the State of Texas.
  • Certified by a recognized national certification board in area of population foci and/or additional specialty recognition.
  • Eligibility for DEA licensure and Basic Cardiac Life Certification or Advanced Cardiac Life Certification.
