Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care within the scope of their training and approved agreement. This role requires collaboration with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health histories, review patient records, and develop comprehensive medical assessments to inform treatment decisions.
  • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses, and implement therapy or referrals to appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, or resources.
  • Provide emergency care and stabilization measures in critical situations, such as cardiac arrest, shock, or allergic reactions.
  • Analyze patient data to determine patient status, management, and treatment.
  • Offer guidance and education to patients, families, and significant others regarding healthcare and health promotion.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred).
  • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
  • Able to multitask and work independently.
Compensation

$70.00 per hour.
