About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Assistant to join our team at Country Meadows. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating engaging experiences for our residents, promoting a sense of pride and purpose, and fostering a positive and enthusiastic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new and innovative experiences for residents, including outings to theaters, museums, and other cultural events.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator and Associate to plan and prepare on and offsite events and activities.
  • Guide volunteers to create meaningful impact and promote resident engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in group socialization or recreational programs preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire residents to participate in activities.
  • Valid driver's license with no major violations in the past five years.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required in this role.
