Job Summary

Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group is seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient experiences from initial contact to appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage high-volume phone calls, responding to patient inquiries and providing general information, scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments.
  • Efficiently document all accounts, update patient demographics, and create medical records.
  • Build rapport with patients, maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality customer service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; College Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or a call center is essential.
  • Healthcare background is a plus; interest or background in Orthopedics is also desirable.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Work Environment

Our office is located in Garden City, with a flexible schedule that includes working up to 8pm daily (weekdays) and nearly every other weekend.
