Party Event Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Birthday Party Captain. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events, including kids' birthday parties, to provide a stress-free, fun, and engaging experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate multiple events simultaneously, including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
- Engage with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94+, by creating an environment of fun and creativity.
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities.
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons, such as goody bags, balloons, etc., to company standards.
- Communicate events with clients and store team members.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
- Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed.
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
- Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards.
- Excellent people skills.
- Experience working with children and children's events.
- Good communication skills, including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication, as well as listening skills.
- Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Retail and/or customer service experience required.
The work environment is a public retail store setting, with all public areas being climate-controlled. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks. The frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses, and work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
