As the Global Head of Medical Data Office, you will be responsible for establishing and driving a data governance structure that incorporates internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the effective management of medical data and its strategic commercialization opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Data Strategy
- Design and implement an end-to-end data strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and roadmap.
- Identify and evaluate strategic commercialization opportunities related to data and data analytics.
- Establish Data Governance Framework
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework that ensures the effective management of medical data.
- Establish and drive global data ownership, data governance, and data quality policies and framework.
- Lead Data-Driven Business Transformation
- Develop and lead a globally scalable organization to implement the short, mid, and long-term data strategy.
- Accountability for budgets and costs across all MDO-related activities and spending.
- Manage Stakeholder Relationships
- Manage and guide internal and external senior and operational stakeholders globally, regionally, and locally.
- Chair all decision bodies of the MDO.
- Education and Experience
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or similar academic background.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in either MedTech/Pharma or strategy consulting firms, both in a multinational/global context.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex business transformation programs on a large/global scale.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to turn strategic thinking and concepts into tangible results that create value.
- Strong motivation to drive the business transformation across the organization to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.
