Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Lead Medical Affairs - Gastroenterology to join our team at Olympus Corporation of the Americas. As a key member of our Medical and Scientific Affairs division, you will be responsible for providing expert medical and clinical insights to inform the effective development of our Gastroenterology medical strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical and clinical insights to inform the effective development of the Gastroenterology medical strategy through internal and external engagements.
- Support the Global Head of Clinical Affairs in the conception, development, and implementation of impactful clinical investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement medical strategy and clinical research plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payors, and patient advocacy groups.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with demonstrated independent clinical practice experience in Gastroenterology.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of biotechnology/pharmaceutical/medical device industry experience in medical affairs, medical technology, or medical strategy.
- Strong understanding of the Gastroenterology therapeutic area and global healthcare delivery systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
