Global Head of Medical Data Office

Olympus Corporation of the Americas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy and governance framework. The Global Head of Medical Data Office will drive the creation of a connected and integrated Intelligent Endoscopy Ecosystem, leveraging the power of data and AI to improve clinical outcomes and efficiency.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and data management, with experience in developing and implementing end-to-end data strategies. They will be responsible for establishing and driving a data governance structure, incorporating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex business transformation programs, with experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analytics. They will be able to develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture, optimize data capabilities and resources, and identify strategic commercialization opportunities related to data and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or similar academic background
- Several years' experience in Healthcare/MedTech and/or strategy consulting firms, both in a multinational/global context
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in either MedTech/Pharma or Consulting with a strong focus on strategy and data management
Preferred:
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex business transformation programs
- Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analytics
- Strong motivation to drive business transformation across the organization
