Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to join our team at CBRE. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day office and client services activities for defined business lines in the local office and/or multiple offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Business Operations, Human Resources, Digital & Technology, Research, Marketing, and Facilities to implement strategic vision and national operational strategies.
  • Manage and accomplish work through supervisors and employees in local office and/or multiple offices.
  • Lead team and activities related to office services operations, including office facilities/supplies/equipment, vendor relationship management, special events, philanthropy, sustainability, and business continuity plans.
  • Lead facilities projects, including ongoing maintenance work, transitions, relocations, and new construction projects.
  • Lead employment activities, including recruitment, selection, on-boarding/new hire orientation, training, performance management, and terminations.
  • Partner with local Marketing Manager and regional/corporate marketing and communications to ensure effective marketing service delivery, business promotion, advertisement, and public relations.
  • Support local and/or multiple offices in accounting and finance activities, including payables, revenue transactions, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Responsible for Real Estate and Business licensing processes to ensure full compliance with state and local licensing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience, including 4 years of management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to internal and external clients.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to sensitive issues.
  • Intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software.
