Job Summary

Analyze and forecast the Club's financial performance, oversee fixed asset reporting and tracking, and manage capital project tracking and reporting as part of a collaborative team. This role is on-site and requires no relocation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet monthly with department managers to discuss budget/forecast variance reporting and analysis.
  • Produce variance reporting for the Finance Committee packet.
  • Maintain procedures and computer application systems for forecasting financial performance and create management reporting on current forecasts and performance.
  • Lead process improvements with a continuous improvement mindset, working with all departments on cost savings opportunities and revenue-generating ideas.
  • Participate in regular business strategy meetings with key departments.
  • Lead document management processes, including contract and license management, electronic document approval, and storage policies and procedures.
  • Maintain fixed asset ledgers and prepare depreciation schedules for monthly entries.
  • Participate in physical inventories with the Purchasing department.
  • Monitor and report on open purchase orders and reconcile with the Purchasing department.
  • Assist with annual capital and operational budgets.
  • Support month-end closing procedures and financials.
  • Identify and analyze operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole Club, determining their financial impact and developing mitigation plans.
  • Participate in annual audits by the Club's CPA firm.
  • Maintain capital asset binders and report on project statuses monthly.
  • Cross-trained in AP, AR, and income audit.
