Job Summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Resource Pool team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in unit activities and provide assistance to colleagues as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
  • Successful completion of an IV therapy curriculum within 4 months of hire/transfer.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment, handle multiple/changing priorities, and utilize specialized equipment.
  • Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients.
