UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Senior Licensed Practical Nurse II to join our team in the Recovery Room. As a Senior LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Licensed Practical Nurse II is responsible for providing direct patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct focused assessments to identify patient needs and develop strategies to address them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state where the facility is located.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an LPN, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
