UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Resource Pool. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in unit activities, such as patient education and discharge planning, to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
- 2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse, with a focus on med/surg/tele or emergency department settings.
- Current licensure in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
