Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Patent Operations Specialist to enhance our intellectual property division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage patent prosecution workflows, including the preparation and submission of documents to the USPTO.
  • Engage directly with clients and attorneys, delivering exceptional service and support throughout the patent process.
  • Maintain and update patent dockets, ensuring adherence to all deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft and review patent-related communications, including emails, memos, and official documents.
  • Assist in the creation of Information Disclosure Statements (IDS) and other complex filings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical patent records.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in U.S. patent filing and portfolio management.
  • In-depth knowledge of USPTO guidelines and procedures.
  • Proficiency in PTO platforms (e.g., EFS, PAIR, EPAS) and docketing systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with international patent filing processes.
  • Knowledge of patent regulations across various jurisdictions.
