Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Patent Operations Specialist to enhance our intellectual property division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage patent prosecution workflows, including the preparation and submission of documents to the USPTO.
- Engage directly with clients and attorneys, delivering exceptional service and support throughout the patent process.
- Maintain and update patent dockets, ensuring adherence to all deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Draft and review patent-related communications, including emails, memos, and official documents.
- Assist in the creation of Information Disclosure Statements (IDS) and other complex filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical patent records.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in U.S. patent filing and portfolio management.
- In-depth knowledge of USPTO guidelines and procedures.
- Proficiency in PTO platforms (e.g., EFS, PAIR, EPAS) and docketing systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with international patent filing processes.
- Knowledge of patent regulations across various jurisdictions.
