Role Overview

As a Senior People Partner at MNTN, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of business strategy. Your ability to assess situations, navigate complexities, and devise innovative solutions to human resource challenges will be key. You are a strategic leader, focused on outcomes rather than merely enforcing policies. Your insight into organizational dynamics allows you to balance the needs of individuals with those of the organization, guiding leaders and team members towards exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance workflows and HR processes, including leave of absence management, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee the understanding and administration of employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with teams on talent retention strategies, career development initiatives, compensation frameworks, and cultural enhancement.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to MNTN's culture, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
  • Engage actively in strategic and operational planning, showcasing exceptional organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Serve as the primary contact for team member relations and support, particularly within Engineering and Product teams.
  • Communicate effectively with professionals across all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a People Business Partner or People Operations role.
  • A passion for aligning business objectives with creative solutions and process improvements.
  • Experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a culture characterized by high ambiguity and change.
  • A forward-thinking perspective on all aspects of human resources, grounded in fundamental principles.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), empathy, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at connecting with people and knowledgeable in various HR disciplines, including compliance, operations, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and learning and development (L&D).
  • Self-aware, resilient, and eager to embrace opportunities for learning and growth.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong presentation skills and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in both start-up and publicly traded companies, with an understanding of the nuances involved.
  • Proficiency in developing processes related to onboarding, team member relations, recognition programs, strategic initiatives, and culture enhancement.
  • Expertise in key HR areas, including employee engagement, compensation strategies, organizational development, team member relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to completion independently.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis, both qualitative and quantitative, to inform decision-making.
