Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Nurse Educator to join our team at the Indian Health Service. As a Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum content, mentoring students and healthcare professionals, and assessing clinical competencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum content for nursing education programs
  • Mentor students and healthcare professionals in clinical settings
  • Assess clinical competencies and provide constructive feedback
  • Facilitate hands-on learning experiences for students and healthcare professionals
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have a graduate or higher level degree in nursing or a related field, and at least one year of experience in clinical teaching or nursing education. You must also possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in developing and implementing curriculum content, mentoring students and healthcare professionals, and assessing clinical competencies. A PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in nursing or a related field is also preferred.
