Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee and uphold supply chain reporting and planning, while also providing administrative support for both inbound and outbound logistical operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities to enhance inventory levels and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee logistical operations, including sourcing, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching.
  • Manage daily and weekly planning and reporting tasks.
  • Provide administrative support for inbound and outbound logistical functions.
  • Assist in coordinating inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to optimize inventory levels and minimize expenses.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments.
  • Process freight invoices efficiently.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Monitor and track shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Address logistical issues and discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in supply chain management is advantageous.
  • Capable of handling multiple high-priority projects alongside regular responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Self-driven and focused on quality outcomes.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee typically works in an office environment but may occasionally be exposed to areas with moving mechanical parts and industrial settings. Noise levels may vary based on the work area. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular activities include sitting, using hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. Occasional requirements include standing, walking, climbing, balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Position Type:

This position is classified as non-exempt under FLSA guidelines and is eligible for overtime. It is a full-time role (40 hours per week), with overtime work required as projects or job duties necessitate. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday.
