Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Alta Forest Products LLC. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistical functions, including sourcing, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching.
  • Manage daily and weekly planning and reporting to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
  • Provide clerical support for inbound and outbound logistical operations, including processing freight invoices and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Assist with the coordination of inventory management, warehousing, and transportation activities to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
  • Resolve logistical issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Previous experience in supply chain management is preferred.
  • Effectively handles multiple high-priority projects in addition to normal responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and quality-focused.
