Position Overview:
- This role serves as the primary contact for Rose International's distributors and Genpos, ensuring exceptional service and parts availability for export clients by managing timely deliveries, shipment accuracy, and minimizing backorders.
- The Export Coordinator will be responsible for specific mid-complexity export distributors and Genpos, collaborating with various internal teams to fulfill customer service standards. This position is pivotal in enhancing service levels, reducing export backorders, and aligning with departmental policies.
- Regular updates to management regarding key initiatives aimed at customer satisfaction are required, including weekly reports on critical backorders and special projects related to export management.
- The Coordinator will act as the main point of contact for assigned export clients, coordinating with departments such as Specification (for part number setup), Supply Chain (for estimated time of arrival inquiries), Campaign and Service (for order submissions), and Regulatory (to ensure compliance in shipping parts to diverse markets).
- Additional responsibilities include overseeing the W37 forecasting program with various clients and supporting new model initiatives.
- This position also involves managing quality claims and liaising with the quality assurance team for inspections and returns of exceptional freight from international customers.
- Coordinators at this level should possess a comprehensive understanding of customer expectations and the export logistics process, enabling effective collaboration across the Parts and Service division.
- Accountability for overall export service levels, W37 forecast accuracy, backorder management, and timely delivery for assigned clients is essential. The entry-level supply specialist will manage clients with moderate complexity and sales.
- Regular video conferences with assigned clients and monthly reporting for management review, including distributor summaries and CAPDos, are required.
- Special projects may be assigned, and travel to engage with key clients could be necessary.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Engagement in customer service activities such as conducting monthly video conferences, visiting distributors and Genpos, researching and analyzing estimated times of arrival, and coordinating orders.
- Ensuring overall export service levels and inter-regional service levels.
- Managing new model parts availability to guarantee timely shipments for launches.
- Overseeing export backorder and critical backorder management, including weekly presentations to executives.
- Collaborating with part centers and logistics teams to ensure efficient processing and shipping of orders.
- Administering the W37 program, which includes obtaining forecasts, submitting to IPC, tracking performance, and conducting annual reviews.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word.
- Experience with Business Objects reporting.
- Familiarity with international business practices is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of Rose International's Parts Business and Operations.
