Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Hygienist to join our team at Atlas Technical Consultants. As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a critical role in conducting complex building science and industrial hygiene safety assessments, analyzing data, and developing strategies to control and minimize workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field assessments and surveys to identify potential hazards and develop recommendations for mitigation.
  • Analyze data and samples to determine the presence and concentration of pollutants and hazardous agents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to control and minimize workplace hazards, including administrative controls, personal protective equipment, and engineering controls.
  • Collaborate with team members to advise on less complex workplace incidents or complaints related to health hazards.
  • Assist with implementing education and training programs for workers and management on potential hazards, safe work practices, and the proper use of protective equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or certificate in environmental sciences, engineering, construction, architecture, industrial hygiene, occupational health, or a related science field.
  • 2+ years of technically sound consulting experience conducting and managing industrial hygiene and building science projects.
  • Ability to climb stairs/ladders, wear a respirator, safety harness, and other personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Reliable transportation, proficiency in project management and personnel management, and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to mold, asbestos, lead, radon, indoor air quality, and industrial hygiene services.
