Position Responsibilities:

As a Public Area Attendant, you will report to the Housekeeping Management team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across all public and service areas. Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring the Spa and Fitness Center are immaculate, well-stocked, and equipped with necessary amenities.
  • Familiarizing yourself with all hotel services, features, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Monitoring cleanliness and organization of assigned workspaces and updating completed tasks.
  • Conducting general cleaning duties, including trash removal and restocking supplies in designated areas.
  • Maintaining the organization of storage areas and ensuring proper handling of cleaning supplies.
  • Transporting food and beverage items as needed and inspecting furniture and equipment for any damages.
  • Dusting and polishing surfaces, as well as cleaning windows, fixtures, and other areas to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong motivation and the ability to work collaboratively towards common goals.
  • Confidentiality in handling guest information and hotel data.
  • A flexible schedule, with availability for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to:

  • Walk, stand, and exhibit mobility throughout shifts.
  • Bend, stoop, squat, and stretch as needed.
  • Occasionally lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Engage in repetitive motions and maintain visual acuity.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role within a luxury hotel setting preferred.

Grooming: All employees are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
