Job Overview

ImmaCare Inc. is seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Support Worker to maintain our properties to excellent operating standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a compassionate concern for those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and the ability to handle stressful situations and a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and follows all health and safety regulations.
  • Recognize potential health and safety risks and consult as needed.
  • Report immediately to the Property Manager or Owner any and all noticed safety risks.
  • Ability to follow, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and materials needed and request through the Property Manager.
  • Respect tenants' personal space by minimizing disruption to the enjoyment of their unit.
  • Ensure safety and security of the property and tenants through careful control of keys, codes, vendor or visitor access to restricted areas.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of three years experience working in property maintenance preferred.
  • Understanding and safe use of hand and power tools and devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Compassionate concern for those who are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and a fast-paced environment.
