Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist Lead to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Respiratory Therapist Lead, you will be responsible for collaborating with leadership to plan and manage operations, ensuring patient safety, quality outcomes, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement operational plans to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of respiratory therapists and provide clinical guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to respiratory care.
  • Provide education and training to respiratory therapists on new technologies and techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in Respiratory Care.
