Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients with respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and asthma.
  • Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and other respiratory care devices.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice.
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
