Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, including group, individual, and family therapies
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources, functioning within the scope of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
  • Displays heavy involvement in treatment planning for patients, working with them to achieve treatment plan goals and accurately documenting progress
  • Ongoing and consistent collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with the utilization review department, ensuring communication on length of stay and treatment of patients
  • Creates thorough discharge plans with clients, meeting their after-care needs, and ensures both patient and appropriate family members or referral sources have necessary paperwork in a timely manner after discharge

Salary/Hourly: $29.75-38 per hour, with potential for payment within this hourly rate depending on circumstances
