Job Summary

We are looking for a highly proficient and seasoned Architect with a focus on Marketing Technology to join our vibrant team at Comcast. The ideal candidate will be tasked with designing, executing, and refining marketing technology solutions that propel business growth and improve customer engagement. This position requires a profound understanding of marketing strategies, technology frameworks, and data analytics to devise innovative solutions that align with the company's marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the platform architecture, technology strategy, and implementation standards for marketing technology solutions.
  • Craft and uphold a comprehensive marketing technology strategy that aligns with the organization's marketing objectives.
  • Assess and explore emerging marketing technologies and trends to bolster marketing capabilities.
  • Formulate and execute strategies for efficient data management, encompassing data collection, storage, processing, and analysis.
  • Guarantee data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Leverage data analytics to derive insights into marketing performance and customer behavior, fostering data-driven decision-making.
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions that support marketing analytics, customer segmentation, campaign management, and personalization efforts.
  • Concentrate on data modeling, quality, integration, and governance to enhance data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Provide strategic technology guidance to shape the overarching marketing technology strategy.
  • Collaborate with fellow architects and subject matter experts to integrate solutions within the broader ecosystem.
  • Comprehend and incorporate AI/ML models to elevate marketing technology capabilities.
  • Document architectural decisions, designs, and requirements in a clear and concise manner. Create and maintain architecture diagrams, design documents, and other relevant artifacts.
  • Present solutions to leadership, management, architects, and developers to ensure alignment and comprehension.
  • Offer technical leadership and guidance to junior architects and engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in architecture design and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data storage, processing, and retrieval performance through database tuning, indexing strategies, and data partitioning techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing technology or a related domain, with a proven history of designing and implementing marketing solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing technology platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, CDPs, and analytics tools.
  • Strong grasp of marketing principles, strategies, and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading architectural initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign is preferred. A solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms is also preferred.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in data architecture.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and driving key performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics concepts and techniques.

Salary:

Pay Range: This job can be performed in California and Colorado with a Pay Range of $119,000 to $213,290.51. Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree is preferred; however, Comcast may also consider applicants who possess a combination of coursework and experience or who have extensive related professional experience.
